GIFT giving assistance
‘twas three nights before Christmas
And not a gift had I bought,
Not an outfit or perfume,
had I given a thought.
So I put on my jacket
And set out for the mall,
Certain that this
Would take no time at all.
Parking was painful
With everyone’s rush
But I thought I could avoid
Any holiday crush.
What to my horror,
Did my bulging eyes see?
But half empty shelves,
Filled with trash and debris.
My heart, it was racing
My breath-it came quick
‘Cause panic had set in
with no gifts to pick
In just a few seconds
A thought filtered in
The gift that was perfect
Came from somewhere I’d been
A place of commitment
And treatments to share
A place where priorities
Were results and great care
With one simple phone call
I hollered in bliss,
Christmas is perfect
When professionals assist!
